The Synth System

Horse racing on synthetic surfaces now makes up a sizeable proportion of the fixture list in the UK. However, many punters avoid betting on all-weather racing because the results are often seen to be unpredictable and the racing is typically of low quality, comprising mainly low grade handicap races . Our analysis though suggests that profits can be made. There is gold to be found in the sand at Britain's all-weather tracks.

The Synth System is an algorithm that utilises a number of form factors to pin point winners in handicap races on the all-weather. Historically the strike rate of the system is around 20 per cent, but the system identifies a steady flow of long-priced winners and has made good profits in the past.
